Our Maryland Wear and Carry Renewal course is designed to meet and exceed the Maryland State Police requirements. Throughout the 1 day (8 hour), the course we will:

• Review the basics of pistol safety

• Cover the topic of pistol types and the functions of each

• Discuss the laws that cover firearms in Maryland

• Revisit the basic handgun skills such as marksmanship and how to handle malfunctions

What Students Should Bring to Class:

• Comfortable non-restrictive clothing.

• No open toe shoes

• No loose fitting or low cut tops

• Note taking materials

• Lunch

• Handgun

• 150 rounds of ammunition

• Eye and ear protection meant for shooting

Time:

Expect the start time for both days to be the start time listed in the class registration.

Location:

Classes will be held in Hunt Valley. Range time will be held at the Guntry range in Owings Mills, MD.

$150

This course will satisfy all requirements of the Maryland State Police, but GTS cannot guarantee the applicant will have their permit renewed by the Maryland State Police.
